There are different ways to back up files from a mobile device like the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. Among the most commonly used is the cloud storage called Google Drive -- a free online storage offered by Google.

With Google Drive, you can access all your files from your mobile devices or computer and view your stuff anywhere. It's like wherever you go, your files follow.

For iPhone 6 / 6 Plus owners who haven't tried using the Google Drive file storage yet, we'll help you get started with this quick guide.

Just follow these simple steps:

1. Go to the Home screen.

2. Tap Google Drive to open the My Drive screen.

3. From the My Drive screen, tap the Add (+) icon located on the upper-right corner.

4. Scroll to and tap to select Upload Photos or Videos from the list of Add to my Drive options.

5. If you're prompted to allow Drive to access photos, tap OK to proceed.

6. Next, tap any album you prefer under Albums.

7. Tap to select the files you want to upload, then tap the Check icon on the upper-right corner of the screen to continue.

8. Wait for your phone upload all the selected files to Google Drive.

You may now try to access and view your recently uploaded files from Google Drive.

In November of last year, a new version of Drive has been rolled out by Google for its Drive app for iPhone and iPad users. The update added support for the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus as well some new features of iOS 8.

Along with full iOS compatibility and bug fixes, performance enhancements from the said update also included the Touch ID system, allowing iOS device users o unlock the Google Drive file storage app using the fingerprint scanner. It also features an extension to "open form and save to Drive in other apps" for iOS 8 users. In addition, users can now save videos from Drive to the Photos app.

Free and paid versions of the Google Drive file storage app is available from the App Store.

Introduction to FlightGear

FlightGear is an open-source flight simulator.  It supports a variety of popular platforms (Windows, Mac, Linux, etc.) and is developed by skilled volunteers from around the world.  Source code for the entire project is available and licensed under the GNU General Public License.
The goal of the FlightGear project is to create a sophisticated and open flight simulator framework for use in research or academic environments, pilot training, as an industry engineering tool, for DIY-ers to pursue their favorite interesting flight simulation idea, and last but certainly not least as a fun, realistic, and challenging desktop flight simulator. We are developing a sophisticated, open simulation framework that can be expanded and improved upon by anyone interested in contributing.
There are many exciting possibilities for an open, free flight sim. We hope that this project will be interesting and useful to many people in many areas.

Project Overview

FlightGear is a free flight simulator project. It is being developed through the gracious contributions of source code and spare time by many talented people from around the globe. Among the many goals of this project are the quest to minimize short cuts and “do things right”, the quest to learn and advance knowledge, and the quest to have better toys to play with.
The idea for Flight Gear was born out of a dissatisfaction with current commercial PC flight simulators. A big problem with these simulators is their proprietariness and lack of extensibility. There are so many people across the world with great ideas for enhancing the currently available simulators who have the ability to write code, and who have a desire to learn and contribute. Many people involved in education and research could use a spiffy flight simulator frame work on which to build their own projects; however, commercial simulators do not lend themselves to modification and enhancement. The Flight Gear project is striving to fill these gaps.
There are a wide range of people interested and participating in this project. This is truly a global effort with contributors from just about every continent. Interests range from building a realistic home simulator out old airplane parts, to university research and instructional use, to simply having a viable alternative to commercial PC simulators.
Flight Gear and its source code have intentionally been kept open, available, and free. In doing so, we are able to take advantage of the efforts of tremendously talented people from around the world. Contrast this with the traditional approach of commercial software vendors, who are limited by the collective ability of the people they can hire and pay. Our approach brings its own unique challenges and difficulties, but we are confident (and other similarly structured projects have demonstrated) that in the long run we can outclass the commercial “competition.”

Cell Phone Unlocking – Tips for Safe and Secure Unlocking
In an era where communication has become extremely important, moving around with a locked cell phone can be very annoying. This is primarily because a locked cell phone is tied to a specific carrier only. Also, every time you travel to an international location, you are unable to use the SIM card of another service provider, simply because your mobile phone is locked to your existing carrier provider. As a result, you will either have to pay very hefty roaming charges or stop using your phone for communication altogether. In order to avoid the latter situation, it is important that you opt for authorized cell phone unlocking services.
Unlocking Methods and Techniques
When a cell phone is locked, it means that the carrier provider has placed some type of software on the handset, which essentially locks the subscriber identification number mentioned on the SIM card to the phone’s serial number. Therefore, when the cell phone serial number as well as the SIM card number does not match with each other, the respective SIM card does not work on other cell phones and your handset fails to function with those SIM cards of other carriers.
Typically, cell phone service providers can have their mobile phones designed after two major cell phone technologies including GSM and CDMA. While CDMA based mobile phones cannot be unlocked, the GSM based handsets can be easily done in many ways such as, by contacting the carrier provider, by using hardware unlocking methods and techniques, software unlocking techniques and by relying on cell phone unlocking service providers that provide IMEI code unlocking process.
Tips for Unlocking
There is absolutely no need to stay with a locked phone. Instead, you should get it unlocked as soon as possible for it will benefit you in multiple ways. Firstly, you will be able to insert the SIM card of multiple carrier providers depending upon your convenience and choice and secondly, you will have the liberty to enhance the firmware and certain apps of your phone, which isn’t possible in case of a locked handset. Following are some of the tips for cell phone unlocking:
  • Seek the services of a reputed and authorized unlocking service provider only
  • Your cell phone should be fully activated with your current service provider at least for once, before you proceed further and get it unlocked
  • Keep the IMEI number of your device handy before you approach an unlocking service offering company.
  • Make sure you have paid your existing contract in full. There should be absolutely no bills or fee pending from your end
Remember, unlocking your phone is completely legal. However, look for references before you approach a specific unlocking service provider to ensure safe and secure unlocking.
